- Unscrew the small screw at the right side of the lower receiver locking pin (see picture)

- Pull off the locking pin from the lower receiver
|

- Hold the handguard with one hand, and hold the pistol grip with another hand (see picture)

 |
- Slide the upper receiver forward slowly.
|
 |
- DONE!
