Jamming during firing is really a nauseous experience to every shooter. 
General speaking, there are 4 causes of jamming. 

1. Dirty barrel, dirty hop-up unit, out of shape barrel will cause the bb jam.
2. Reuse used BB bullets or ex-fired BB bullets: These BB bullets are usually dirty and their surfaces are usually damaged.
3. Use poor quality BB bullets: Because of the poor manufacturing process, these bullets are not perfect spheres. Their surfaces are rough and usually with mold scars. Bullet size may even exceed 6mm. 
4. Use so-called perfect BB bullets: The surfaces of these BB bullets are usually shining and appear perfect. In order to make the shining surface, manufactures must incorporate hard materials in the molding process. Therefore, these bullets are usually brittle and will easily break into small pieces when hitting onto hard surfaces or entering into the metal firing chamber (bolt) of airsoft gun (especially during high speed full-auto shooting). These small broken pieces cause jamming and irreversible mechanical damages to your gun. Worst still, they can easily cause eye injuries if they pass through the small holes of the protective goggle and mask.
